Irrgrønn Flash Fiction Competition 2018

1604818_417372488395850_1559004791_n Ahead of our 2018 Festival ‘A Day of Ideas’ at Litteraturhuset Oslo on March 3rd 2018, we are again running a flash fiction competition.

Entries up to a limit of 500 words will be accepted in English or Norsk on the theme ‘A Journey’.

 

  • All who enter the competition will be entitled to free entry to the Irrgrønn: Day of Ideas in the Litteraturhuset, March 3rd, 2018.
  • At 19:00 on the day Ambassador Karl Gardner will announce the winner of the Flash Fiction Competition. We encourage all entrants to attend.
  • The winner will have the opportunity to read their winning entry on the night.

 

How To Enter:

  • Send your submission to irrgronnproductions@gmail.com. Please include your entry as an attachment and not in the body of the email in .docx or .pdf format.
  • The closing date for entries is February 28th 2018.
  • The Entry fee is  100 Nok
  •  Vipps entry fee to: 137100. Please remember to include your name when Vippsing.

 

The Prizes: 

1st Prize:

A weekend trip to Dublin with flights and accommodation and a private guided literary walking tour. This prize has kindly been donated by Tourism Ireland.

2nd Prize:

1000 Nok token to Cappelens Forslag Bookshop

Cost of Entry: 

Each entry is subject to an 100 Nok administration fee.

The fee can be sent by Vipps to the following number: 137100

The fee is not  refundable.

Rules of Entry
